Personal e-mail message from Ned Nelter of Jr. Cadillac:
Been without computer lately. Sorry for the tardy response. I play at La Oficina Bar/Rest in Melaque. About 4 hours S. of you. I live in Barra de Navidad on the same bay. C'mon down!!

Oh how I wish we could go but it's too far for us to go. We would have to take a bus. I wrote to him because I knew he played in Mexico in the winter. They will play the Triple Door again in August and ....we'll be there!
Note to ourselves: it takes us about 2 weeks to really settle in. It's not just the adjustment to climate, or the gathering of food and other items but more about the pace of our days and how to spend our time, have space from each other, take the time to re-balance our relationship. We probably spend more time than the average human couples on our communications but it works for us.
We were tired today. Took the day off from walking and rigorous exercise. The weather is so perfect now. Very refreshingly warm and sunny without that intense humidity. But it's not all about the weather, eh?
Antoinetta (the property manager) stopped by so we could pay her for the Internet Connectivity for the time that we are here. It costs 1,080 pesos which is about $66.00. It's fast and stable. She also mentioned the other properties that she manages here in Las Moras and will send us photos and specs. We're thinking that perhaps some friends would like to join us next year. You know who you are!!
We communicated with Tessa from REI today and confirmed our Camino presentations in the REI stores in Olympia and Tacoma in March. So today we started preparing in earnest.
The rest of the day we napped and read and listened to music.
Now it's time for a swim and a walk over to the club for yoga at 8.
I hear Rudy made some of his famous almond joys!
