Another way of seeing

8.5 miles

We started out on the path to Pitillal, the unchanged Mexican town east of us, wandered around, had breakfast at the restaurant by Costco, and walked Fluvial to Prisciliana Sanchez and to the market.  Today we recognized a pattern:  we're doing mini-Caminos, spending our days walking and wandering, not feeling complete until we have that busted up tired, hot, sweaty feeling!!

What a strange notion of vacation!

We pass this sweet abode on our walks.

Strawberry season!

 Political signs.  Everywhere.

The church in Pitillal.
The town square.  We've had tamales here in the evening.

And suddenly cows were crossing the road.
 Some people wash their cars.....

Head, tongue, intestines.....

Sponge Bob!!  And Beauty and the Beast.

Good breakfast place

First time ever!  Didn't buy a thing!

Love the jungle in its natural state.

And suddenly....the hotel zone appears!

At las Moras

Walking, massages, tacos for dinner, planning the REI talk, Skyping with Carolin and Jeff.  Day is done.
