A Camino kind of day

Fresh papaya-orange juice

February 2015
12 miles walking- make that 13 1/2.

We started early- out the door at 7:30.  We walked to el Centro, had breakfast, wandered through Old Vallarta, a maze of cobbled streets and steps up and up the hills.

Arrived back home by 1:30 to collapse comfortably on the couch for music, reading and napping time.

What is it about walking that is so satisfying even when the sweat drips, the feet ache? The spirit prevails.  Smiles.

We were reminded of the Larry McMurtry book, Duane's Depressed.  Perhaps Duane had it figured out.

This is the way to prepare for our REI presentations!!

See? The land where VWs live on.

Isn't the morning light something? And Craig as well!

View from breakfast place.

Wouldn't be a Camino without a church!!

Just a gorgeous photo by Craig

Woolworth's lives!

After a long afternoon nap, we departed for a drink on the beach and a sunset.
