8 miles + ocean swimming
It's now 8:26 in the evening. We just finished dinner. Stir fry chicken with vegetables. And we are tired tired tired.
That's what sun and surf will do for a person.
The weather is spectacular today. Crystal clear with low humidity and everything is so fresh after a couple days of rain.
We left home late morning and walked the trail to the hotels, then caught a bus south to Playa de los Muertos. We walked along the Malecon to the end of the beaches and then walked back. Then we caught a bus back to the Walmart bus stop where we de-bussed and walked back home, only to strap our beach chairs on our backs and head out to the beach closest to us, Playa de Oro. We spent the late afternoon there and patted ourselves on the back for having invested in these chairs and umbrella. The water is perfect, gentle waves and the temperature is cooling but does not chill. No need to even towel off. Hazel will love this so!

As the evening approached, we walked to Soriana to replenish Craig's supply of ice cream bars and the first purchase of favorite banana bread. Not to melt the ice cream, we opted for a cab home!!
And that's the story of the day. Who would travel/vacation this way and call it a perfect day? Walk all day, swim, buy some food, and go home and eat! I think we are still in Camino mode!
